Russian Tape Lace is an interesting type to lace to make.  It uses just a few pairs and usually features a heavier thread.  I like using something metallic for a little extra bling.  The bat was designed by Lynn Stiglich, published in the IOLI Bulletin of Fall 2008, and the butterfly came from Maria Provencher.
