Niall Glavin of Glavin Homes is a premier builder here in the Vancouver area. Several months ago he asked me to make a book for him to use in a house he was building for the Parade of Homes. It was going to be the “handle” for a secret, hidden door. I was very excited to go see it in action. When you look down a short hallway, you could see a book case at the end of that hallway.

And on the right side is the book that I made. He had ordered the kit for the secret door, but the book that came with it was not attractive at all. So, I made a new cover for it and personalized it for the occasion.

Then recently I got to go the Parade of Homes and this is how it worked. It was so fun!
